Therapy Sessions

When you book an appointment, we dedicate that time entirely to you. This includes preparing for your session in advance and ensuring the slot is unavailable to others waiting for an opening.

Therefore, we must enforce a cancellation/rescheduling policy as follows:

2 to 24 hours notice - $50 fee applies.

Less than 12 hours notice - 100% of the fee applies.

Please note: Medicare, TAC and WorkCover do not offer rebates for cancelled sessions, you will be responsible for the full cost of a late cancellation.

Additionally, further sessions will not proceed until any outstanding balances are settled.

Assessements

Due to the complexity and preperation involved in conducting a psychological assessment, and because of a full day of the clinician time being reserved for each assessment, the following policy applies:

Cancellations/rescheduling with more than 10 days prior to the assessment date, the 20% deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellations/rescheduling within 10 days prior, the client will be responsible for 50% of the total.

Cancellations/rescheduling within 5 days prior, the client will be responsible for 100% of the total assessment fee.

*Exceptions to this policy may be made at the clinicians discretion for extraordianary circumstances, such as medical emergencies with appropriate documentation.
